About

Thealogy is a feminist-oriented form of religious discourse or study that focuses on the feminine divine or Goddess, in contrast to traditional theology, which centers on God. The term, derived from the Greek word thea (Goddess), emerged with second-wave feminism to describe the reflection on the meaning of the feminine aspect of the divine, challenging male-centered religious paradigms and promoting spiritual and political shifts. It is also used by feminists within monotheistic traditions to explore the feminine aspect of the deity or trinity.
